Programme Outline

To qualify for the CPA Programme, students will need to be an Associate Member and must have graduated with a degree with a major in Accounting recognized by CPA Australia. In the meantime, candidates can alternatively convert from other disciplines by undertaking an accredited postgraduate conversion course which covers the minimum knowledge required by CPA Australia.The CPA Program comprises six segment components, namely, the foundation segment, the corporate governance and accountability segment, three elective segments, and a capstone segment.Students who have completed the CPA Programme can proceed further in their career development by completing the CPA MBA programme with one of Australia?s premier schools.

CPA Australia owns the CPA Library Network which encompasses seven branches in Australia and another seven overseas, making it one of the largest accounting, finance, and business libraries in the world.There is also an extensive range of electronic and print publications being produced by CPA Australia to assist the students in their careers and keep them informed of relevant professional bodies. Meanwhile, the Centres of Excellence, or CoEs, represent a cast pool of technical and intellectual expertise, in which their focus lies in identifying issues of significance to the profession and providing advice and guidance for members.
